Tryptase

The Tryptase test measures the level of tryptase, an enzyme produced by mast cells in the body. Elevated levels of tryptase can indicate mast cell activation or mastocytosis, a condition characterized by an excessive accumulation of mast cells, which can lead to allergic reactions and other symptoms.
