RPR w/Reflex

The RPR (Rapid Plasma Reagin) test is a non-treponemal screening test used to detect antibodies in the blood that may indicate a syphilis infection. The "with reflex" designation means that if the RPR test is reactive (positive), a more specific confirmatory test (such as the Treponema pallidum particle agglutination assay, or TP-PA) will automatically be performed to confirm the diagnosis.
