PLAC Test (Lp-PLA2)

The PLAC test measures the activity of lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2), an enzyme linked to inflammation and atherosclerosis. Elevated levels of Lp-PLA2 are associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, including heart attack and stroke. This test can be used to evaluate an individual's risk of developing cardiovascular conditions.
