The Glucose, Gestational, 1-Hour test is a screening test performed during pregnancy to assess how well the body processes glucose. This test is typically conducted between the 24th and 28th weeks of pregnancy to screen for gestational diabetes, a condition that can develop during pregnancy and affect both the mother and baby. During the test, the pregnant individual consumes a glucose solution, and blood glucose levels are measured one hour later.
