C-Peptide

C-Peptide is a blood test that measures the level of C-peptide, a byproduct of insulin production in the pancreas. When insulin is synthesized, proinsulin is split into equal parts of insulin and C-peptide. Therefore, measuring C-peptide levels can provide valuable insights into insulin production and pancreatic function.
